Jenny Batlay studied French & Romance Philology and has a Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York. She has taught at Columbia, Princeton, and Fordham University, among others and teaches now at the French Institute/Alliance Française in Manhattan.. She is also an artist who has exhibited extensively on both sides of the Atlantique.
